COMFORT IS WHERE DREAMS GO TO DIE

“Welcome to The Dream Life Diary – Week 40”

– Journal entry, Monday 6 February 2017-

Email sent 9.05pm, Monday 6 February 2017 to my Editor:

Hello beautiful,
How are you? I am so nervous sending this draft to you. I’ve been reworking it the past few days but I think I need fresh eyes on it. And I trust you.
It’s in 2 sections:
1) MY STORY
2) THE GUIDEBOOK
I’d love your feedback on which chapters don’t fit or make sense…
Please be kind but also very constructive… my intention is for this to be an amazing book I am proud of that changes the lives of hundreds or even thousands of women.
Thank you,
Juliet xx

Tonight I sent my baby out into the world and into the loving arms of my editor.
From now on, this baby isn’t mine any more. I’ve cradled, built and nurtured it and now it’s ready to be delivered to the world. Yes, it belongs to the world now.
I feel a rush of different emotions. And I know they’re all good. They’re all growing emotions.
Discomfort, uncertainty… the stuff I’m used to.
Because I know that safety and comfort is where dreams go to die.
And my dreams are alive and real.

xx Juliet
