Relaunch My Life

GO FOR IT, RISK IT ALL – IT’S WORTH IT!

“Welcome to The Dream Life Diary – Week 4”

DREAM

– Journal entry, Monday 2 May 2016 –

Today was an absolutely beautiful day. My intention for the day was to ‘let it flow’ and everything really did.

This morning, after lying in each others arms, telling each other 3 things we are grateful for and making love (twice..) Paul and I went for a swim at the beach.

The water felt so incredible. Salty, warm and bubbly – and it felt like it was washing away past layers of residual stress and tension from years gone by. My body felt alive.

God our Mondays are amazing. Every day we have together is amazing… I am so thankful. I can remember only a few years ago feeling so passionless and like there was so much missing out on in life… now my life is barely recognisable.

As Paul and I walked home we talked about our day and the plans we both have for our businesses this week. It’s only 4 weeks until we leave for Europe and we are both hosting live events interstate this month. We have a lot on, but at least we are able to support each other and it’s so helpful that our businesses are at similar stages.

I can remember only a few years ago my Mondays consisted of sitting in an office all day, stressful meetings and getting home late to cook dinner and start the routine all over again. Man, I was so exhausted. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

If I could talk to Juliet 3 years ago I would say… ‘follow your dreams… go for it, risk it all, it’s worth it! Quit your job, leave your marriage, build a dream job, move to the beach, find your soulmate, travel the world… trust me, it will all be worth it!

Life is weird! Part of me honestly feels as though the brave choices I have made on my journey the past few years are as a result of my inner guidance connecting to the advice I am now giving that past me today… The concept of time is really flimsy, so it makes sense that choices I am making today are strengthened and guided by the advice the future me is sending back in time…

possible right?!

Today I booked in to Yoga Teacher Training in Bali in October as a 30th birthday present to myself… I can’t wait!I am going to do yoga on Youtube or in a class every day and journal about it each day (how I feel, what the teacher was like, a bit of a review of their teaching style). I did an evening restorative yoga tonight by Chace Cole. She was quite simple, and traditional but I liked how relaxing it was – it felt like another few layers of tension melted away. I still often release tears when I do yoga. I’m so much more connected to my body than I ever was before, and conscious of how my emotions are stored within my body also.

LIFE

– Inspiration or Soul Nourishment –

The soul nourishment and inspiration this week is taken fromWomen Who Run With the Wolves, by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, my absolute favourite book:

“A healthy woman is much like a wolf: robust, chock-full, strong life force, life-giving, territorially aware, inventive, loyal, roving.

Yet, separation from the wildish nature causes a woman’s personality to become meager, thin, ghostly, spectral.

We are not meant to be puny with frail hair and inability to leap up, inability to chase, to birth, to create a life.

When women’s lives are in stasis, or filled with ennui, it is always time for the wildish woman to emerge; it is time for the creating function of the psyche to flood the delta…”
