These are just a few of the conversations I have had with different business advisors during the past few months.
I want to listen to them but my entire being is screaming back:
“I don’t give a shit about leads. I don’t care about CONVERSIONS. I don’t care about CHARGING money.”
I want to help people. I want people that feel aligned with my message to want to work with me, whether I have a good ‘selling strategy’ or not.
And… I want to give my program away for free.”
I have put off writing this blog for a few months now because the more successful I become the more pressure I feel to change who I am and the way I do things just to get a ‘sale’…. Because that’s how business works. Apparently.
I think that’s ridiculous.
Because the moment I have to do something for a ‘sale’ it’s like my entire body shuts down all creative/original thought and I can’t do anything.
I am an inspirational, intuitive and empathetic woman. I have a vision for a business where people want to work with me because they feel an alignment or a connection with my message. And they hear me speaking honestly (cutting through all the carbon copy sales formatted blogs) and can feel that I am different.
I never want someone to work with me just so I can pay my bills.
I have realised, the more someone invests financially, the more they are actually proving they are investing in themselves and their future. This has been an interesting realisation.
Also, since demand from clients has meant I have been able to work full time as a life coach now for over 12 months, the reality is I DO have to charge clients so I can pay my bills.
It’s a really interesting conundrum!
So, I am not giving my program away for free, but I am running a free webinar.
And I promise to give you as much value as I possibly can so you can feel whether working with me is something you want to invest in or not.
No sales tactic I promise.
